About Us

Drogheda Tidy Towns was set up by local volunteers in 2007 to make Drogheda a better place to live, work, and visit. From the very beginning, our aim has been to create a cleaner, greener, and more welcoming town, encouraging pride in our community and working together to protect and enhance Drogheda for everyone.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved with the Boyne Valley Camino on today’s fantastic unveiling of the official Galician Mouteira at Scotch Hall, overlooking the River Boyne. 👏👏We at Drogheda Tidy Towns were delighted to attend and to congratulate the Boyne Valley Camino Group on this enormous achievement. Thanks to your many years of hard work and dedication, you have made the Celtic Camino a reality for us all to enjoy, while also creating something that will attract many visitors to Drogheda and the wider North East. The 25km Boyne Valley Camino, linking with a further 75km in Spain, is a wonderful addition to our town and region. The new granite waymarker, pointing the way towards Galicia, is a fitting symbol of the historic links between Drogheda and Santiago.Well done to the Boyne Valley Camino Group, along with Louth County Council and LoveDrogheda BIDS, for making this happen. A fantastic legacy for Drogheda and the North East. 🇮🇪🥾🇪🇸👏#boynevalleycamino #boynevalley #drogheda #LouthCountyCouncil #lovedrogheda #boynevalleytrail ...
