Another 5 bags of litter were collected along Sunnyside Cottages Footpath Sunday gone by two of our volunteers, Dominick and Dave, who have Adopted An Area ( Sunnyside Cottages Footpath). That’s 11 bags of litter collected along this pathway over the last 4 weeks. A lot of beer cans and bottles along the side bank but they are getting close to having it completely cleared up and litter-free! They have also started clearing the area of falling branches so they can start to work on the next phase of the plan
“The best part about today was an elderly gentleman stopped to thank us as the Sunnyside Pathway is his and his dog’s favorite walk towards and back to the graveyard. This motivates us, even more, to make this wonderful area even better for people like him!” Dominick
